The Senate Intelligence Committee has requested that the Trump campaign turn over all “documents, emails, and phone records” dating back to June 2015, according to The Washington Post. The panel’s chairman and vice chairman, North Carolina Republican Richard Burr and Virginia Democrat Mark Warner, reportedly sent a letter to the campaign’s treasurer last week detailing the request. The committee has been investigating Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election. On Thursday, the senators on the committee voted unanimously to give Burr and Warner “blanket authority” to issue subpoenas, some of which have targeted Michael Flynn, the president’s former national security adviser.
