The man accused of shooting House Majority Whip Steve Scalise at a congressional baseball practice on Wednesday had a list of other lawmakers at the time of the attack, the Associated Press reported Saturday. Citing a person familiar with the matter, the report said the shooter had a piece of paper with drawings and three other lawmakers’ names, though investigators aren’t sure if he intended to target the other individuals on the list. The source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, did not reveal the names of the other lawmakers but said they had been briefed on the situation. Scalise has undergone multiple surgeries since the shooting and remains in critical condition. His trauma surgeon said Friday that he faces additional operations and “will be in the hospital for some time.”
