An affidavit subpoenaed by the FBI reportedly contains text messages in which former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle appears to admit via text message to paying a 16-year-old girl $100 for sex. The messages in the affidavit, which Business Insider says it reviewed and verified, were allegedly sent to a former female Subway franchisee. In one exchange, according to the affidavit, Fogle asks the woman to advertise herself on Craigslist for sex, to which she responds, “Is this the same website you found hat 16 year old girl that you f*****? …I still can’t believe you only paid $100 for her.” Fogle reportedly responded, “It was amazing!!!!”
