U.S. Army troops on the security detail for Vice President Mike Pence’s team have reportedly been “reassigned” after some were caught on tape bringing women back to their hotel in Colombia. According to NBC News, the women were not “registered” as visitors. It is not known if Pence was in Colombia at the time, but the individuals involved have been removed from the White House detail. Pentagon spokesman Lt. Col. Paul Haverstick confirmed to NBC News that “the individuals in question have been re-assigned back to the Army.” Secret Service agents were fired in 2012 after they were accused of bringing prostitutes back to their hotel rooms.
