Musician Lissy Trullie has gone from downtown New York ubiquity (thanks to heavy demand for her as a DJ) to making regular appearances in the fashion world. She and her namesake band played 3.1 Phillip Lim's show at New York Fashion Week last season. And, while she posed in friend and designer Chrissie Miller's look books for Sophomore for seasons before starring in Chloe Sevigny's Red, the androgynous redhead took on a few higher-fashion gigs for FW09. The latter include Oscar de la Renta's son Moses' look book for his line MDLR, as well as Hérve Léger by Max Azria's Fall 2009 ad campaign, which was shot by photog Richard Kern. Also, rumor has it Trullie's band is set to play New York Fashion Week yet again this September at an as-of-yet undisclosed store.

Press-shy Matt Damhave helped found Imitation of Christ nearly a decade ago. Since then, the ginger-haired designer has launched out on his own, with an independent line called OTMOTM ( Of the Manor, Of the Manner), which he claims is not "clothing" per se, but avant-garde takes on nonfunctional fashions. He has also created graphics for the Brooklyn band Gang Gang Dance, as well as art that he exhibited most recently at a solo show at Andy Spade, Bill Powers and James Frey's Half Gallery last year. Damhave also contributed artwork to Chloe Sevigny's past look book for Opening Ceremony, before moonlighting as a mannequin for Red.

Canadian Coco Rocha caused quite a bit of buzz when she first dyed her long, stick-straight locks red. While the mannequin traded in her scarlet 'do for a darker hue earlier this year, she's since gone back to red. And, seeing as the sometimes TV host is the face of Liz Claiborne's Fall ads in addition to being a New York Fashion Week regular, this fiery-haired beauty is going to be increasingly hard to miss.

Vogue's Creative Director Grace Coddington is nearly impossible to miss thanks to her long, curly-to-the-point-of-fashionable frizzy red hair. She's immediately recognizable to anyone in the fashion world, but come this fall a significantly wider demographic will become familiar with Coddington. While The September Issue, the RJ Cutler documentary that follows Vogue as it puts together its iconic September issue for 2007 (slated for a August 2009 release), has been highly anticipated thanks to its unconventional, intimate access to Anna Wintour, Coddington really steals the show. Coddington plays the downtrodden, immensely sympathetic artist consistently butting heads with the queen of cutthroat, editor in chief Wintour.

Scranton, Pennsylvania-bred Julia Frakes made a name for herself as fashion blogger Bunny Bisous (but her fame really hit when she showed up at Paris Fashion Week circa 17-years-old, donning thousand-dollar Balenciaga dresses). Since then Frakes has landed a gig at PAPER penning their Fashion Schmashion column. And, thanks to Sevigny she go the chance to stretch her modeling legs in Red. Although, it wasn't Frakes' first time in front of the camera: she posed for designer Rachel Antonoff's Fall 2009 look book as well.

Model Karen Elson has been in the business quite some time, although after marrying rocker Jack White she set up shop (literally, Elson opened a vintage store called Venus and Mars) outside of the world's fashion capitals in Nashville. But, that's not to say the British-born, crimson-haired mannequin has been any less visible when it comes to catwalks or ad campaigns. She's the face of Roberto Cavalli Fall 2009, and recently graced the cover of European fashion rag Numero.

Brazilian model Cintia Dicker launched onto the scene just a few years ago. Having starred in campaigns for Ann Taylor and Yves Saint Laurent, as well as on covers for Brazilian Elle, Teen Vogue and Vogue, Dicker has become a fashion world regular. The catwalk-frequenter also made the pages of the most recent Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition in addition to landing Sephora's holiday campaign last year; in other words, Dicker has solidified her reputation as a mannequin that can handle high fashion as well as mainstream modeling gigs.

The inimitable fashion scribe Lynn Yaeger was at Village Voice for three decades. In that time, the red-haired writer, whose short bangs and '20s crop combo are as recognizable as her perpetually rouged cheeks, has spawned legions of supporters. Yaeger's unique sense of humor and realist approach to a largely superficial industry (now printed in the likes of Vogue among other publications) continues to be a breath of fresh air. Not surprisingly, Yaeger's personal style is equally (refreshingly) unconventional.

The arguable birth mother of punk fashion, Vivienne Westwood is another fire-haired fashion-industry alumnae. Having entered onto London's scene with her Sex boutique (co-founded with then-boyfriend Malcolm McLaren), Westwood has in subsequent decades turned her namesake brand into an international empire. She also continues to push the envelope today, casting the likes of Ronnie Wood for her last collection presentation or handpicking Pamela Anderson to star in her most recent ad campaign for Vivienne Westwood Red—the ginger-haired designer's signature label.

While socialite and writer (from Style.com to The New York Observer) Jessica Joffe's name might not strike you as immediately familiar, chances are you know her face. The redhead starred in Banana Republic's Spring 2006 campaign, meaning her face graced countless billboards and magazine ads. Meanwhile, the publishing scion (her mother is a writer and her father publishes Germany's Die Zeit) is at it again, playing mannequin for fashion designer and owner of NYC boutique Resurrection Katy Rodriguez's eponymous FW09 look book.

Model Lily Cole is also a member of the naturally copper-topped pack. The British mannequin-cum-actress has starred in campaigns for Longchamp, Topshop and Chanel, and she has graced the cover of three separate issues of British Vogue. She also stripped down for French Playboy's October 2008 issue. Now, Cole is gearing up for her big-screen debut with Terry Gilliam's The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, Heath Ledger's final film, which hits theaters in October.

Designer Thea Bregazzi is one-half of the team behind Preen, a purveyor of covetable body-con dresses among other creations. Launched in 1996, Preen draws inspiration from its native Britain (think: punk rock and Victoriana), but presents its reference-ridden designs in a minimalist, modern manner. London-based Bregazzi and partner Justin Thornton also debuted Preen Line, a well-received diffusion line, just last year.

Designer Stella McCartney is one of the fashion industry's most recognizable redheads. In addition to the wildly famous last name, McCartney's eponymous (vegan-friendly) fashion label has been garnering her increasing star status in recent seasons. Having created a bona fide empire (which includes a fragrance and a skin-care line), McCartney was recently named one of Time's 100 most influential figures of 2009.
