On Thursday evening the news site accidentally published its predrafted obituary for the wealthy investor. “George Soros, who died XXX at age XXX, was a predatory and hugely successful financier and investor, who argued paradoxically for years against the same sort of free-wheeling capitalism that made him billions,” the article begins. Reuters tweeted that the story had been deleted shortly after it was noticed, but as of 30 minutes later, the page was still active.
