A Michigan man who shot another man to death last year in an apparent road rage incident has been sentenced to 27 to 50 years in jail. Martin Edward Zale, 69, claimed self-defense in the murder of Derek Flemming, 43. Flemming, a father of two, confronted Zale about his aggressive driving at an intersection last September, while Flemming’s wife waited in the car. Zale then fired a single round from a 9mm Ruger handgun into Flemming’s face, killing him.
