Potential Romney running mate Rob Portman defended Mitt against attacks on his record at Bain Capital Monday. “My feeling’s pretty simple ... that’s capitalism. There aren’t different kinds of capitalism. There’s the free market. Yeah there were some businesses that weren’t in great shape when Bain got involved in them.” He also noted that he didn’t think Democrats were making the “best case” against Romney with the Bain argument.
