Accused murderer Robert Durst is due to appear Monday in a New Orleans court, where his lawyers are expected to argue for his extradition to California to face murder charges. Durst was arrested on weapons charges right before the finale of an HBO series about his case, and his lawyers contend that the weapons charge—which may carry a heavier penalty than any of the others he faces—“really should be secondary.”
