Romney Celebrates Gingrich's Ethics Scandal Anniversary

Mitt Romney isn't one to forget an anniversary. Especially if it's the anniversary of his political opponent's ethics scandal. Fifteen years ago today Newt Gingrich became the first speaker of the House to be disciplined for his ethics violations by his own colleagues, and ordered to pay $300,000. Not only did the Romney camp celebrate the anniversary by sending out a press release to remind voters of Gingrich's scandalous past, they sent the former speaker a "Happy Anniversary" cake.
