In an effort to defend his recent comment in Michigan that his wife drives “a couple of Cadillacs”—making him sound like a pompous millionaire who owns a fleet of cars while many Americans and Detroit autoworkers are out of work—Mitt Romney said on Fox News Sunday, “If people think that there is something wrong with being successful in America, then they better vote for the other guy, because I've been extraordinarily successful, and I want to use that success and that know-how to help the American people.” Perhaps he hasn’t been as extraordinarily successful against the other guy, Rick Santorum, but Romney acknowledged that he has some flaws. “You know, I can't be perfect,” he told host Chris Wallace. “I just am who I am.” At least he’s aware of that.
