Romney Heads to Missouri

Leaves South on primary day.

After campaigning in Alabama and Mississippi, Mitt Romney is making his way to Missouri. Though his opponent Rick Santorum already won the state’s “beauty contest” primary, Romney hopes he can nab some of the state’s 52 delegates in the real deal this weekend. Mitt will hold a “grass-roots event on jobs and the economy” at a park in St. Louis Tuesday and will meet with voters in Kansas City later in the day. The fact that he’s abandoned Alabama and Mississippi on their primary day shows he probably thinks he has a better chance in Missouri than the more Southern states.
