Romney: Jobs Report a 'Hammer Blow'

Surprising no one, Mitt Romney wasted no time in reacting to today's jobs report, calling the unemployment rate a "hammer blow to struggling middle-class families" in a statement released Friday. The GOP presidential candidate jumped on the opportunity to talk up his own Plan for a Stronger Middle Class, launched just yesterday, which he said will "bring more jobs and more take-home pay." Romney's advisers said Thursday that his economic plan would add 12 million jobs in four years if he's elected president. "President Obama doesn't have a plan and believes the private sector is 'doing fine.' Obviously, that is not the case," Romney said.
