Mitt Romney, on the campaign trail, called President Obama “angry and desperate” and said Obama should “take his hate back to Chicago.” Although Vice President Biden hit the campaign trail Tuesday for Obama, Paul Ryan instead traveled to Las Vegas to meet with Sheldon Adelson, the casino mogul who has pledged to spend up to $100 million to defeat the president. Adelson has donated some $50 million to the 2012 campaign, although a campaign aid was quick to say that Tuesday’s event at the Venetian hotel in Las Vegas was a “finance event, not a fundraiser.”
