Today, while campaigning in Chicago, the presidential hopeful confirmed this odd tendency. A pool report on the candidate's visit to Google Chicago notes, "Another amusing exchange as he walked past an employee with a big blue lava lamp (turned off) on his desk: 'That's a big lava lamp, congratulations,' Romney said."
