More inevitability for Mitt Romney? Media outlets called Saturday night’s GOP caucuses in Washington early in the night as the former governor took a double-digit lead. With all of the state’s precincts reporting, Romney had 37 percent of the vote, while Ron Paul took 25 percent, just a percentage point ahead of Rick Santorum. Newt Gingrich was far behind at 10 percent. Ron Paul was the only candidate in Washington when the caucuses began; the others were all campaigning in Ohio in preparation for Super Tuesday.
