Rubio: Obama Takes Us ‘Backwards’

Florida Senator Marco Rubio took a stab at President Obama’s campaign slogans to wildly cheering crowds at his speech Thursday night at the Republican National Convention. “Under Barack Obama, the only 'Change' is that 'Hope' has been hard to find,” he quipped, adding that his regulations have taken us “Backwards,” not “Forward.” Rubio cites the stimulus and healthcare legislation as Obama’s major failings that have “divided us against each other.” Rubio seemed pretty sure of the November election results, saying, “We are blessed that soon, he will be the president of the United States.”
