Rush Limbaugh Makes Jokes About Japanese Earthquake

Has Rush Limbaugh not been paying attention to what happened to Gilbert Gottfried? The conservative talk-show host had some laughs on his radio show Tuesday—at the expense of Japan. A caller asked Limbaugh why a country with such a strong environmental track record had been “hit” by “Mother Earth” with the devastating earthquake and tsunami that is estimated to have killed thousands and caused a nuclear catastrophe. Limbaugh called it an “interesting question,” and said, laughing, “he’s right. They’ve given us the Prius. Even now, refugees are recycling their garbage. And yet, Gaia levels them! Just wipes them out!” Limbaugh also mocked a report by Diane Sawyer, saying that when the news anchor was surprised that refugees were recycling, Sawyer “sounds like she saw her husband for the first time in six months.”
