Russell Brand recently traveled to Japan to see his wife Katy Perry perform in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka—but the comedian was deported before he could see his leading lady on the stage. Authorities apparently found arrests on his record—the most recent from last year in California over a fight with the paparazzi—and gave him the boot this weekend. The "Teenage Dream" singer was heartbroken that her hubby had to go: "I am so sad. I brought him all this way to show him my favorite place," she tweeted with the hashtag #tokyodreamcrushed. Naturally, Brand couldn't help but to crack a joke and posted a photo to his Twitter account while he was being held in detention. "Planning escape from Japanese custody. "It's bloody hard to dig a tunnel with a chopstick," he tweeted.
