The British comedian was arrested Thursday for allegedly snatching a cell phone after a paparazzo snapped a photo of Brand on his cell phone. According to police in New Orleans, an arrest warrant was issued for Katy Perry’s ex after the actor allegedly grabbed a photographer’s cell phone and hurled it through a window—an offense that would carry a $700 fine. Brand was seemingly unruffled by the incident, tweeting Thursday, “Since Steve Jobs died I cannot bear to see anyone use an iPhone irreverently, what I did was a tribute to his memory.”
