Somebody call Bruce Willis: The chief of Russia’s space agency announced on Wednesday that Russia may send a spaceship to knock off course a large asteroid that could hit earth. Russia will soon hold a meeting to assess a mission to Apophis, and could invite NASA and other space agencies to join in. American scientists, however, say that an impact is unlikely, saying the chances of a collision on 2036 are one in 45,000.
