Russia Offers No Peace for Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin met with the leaders of France and Germany on Friday to discuss the current fighting in eastern Ukraine. But no peace was promised for the country embroiled with deadly fighting and terror from Russia, who has failed to follow through on a promised cease-fire. The Minsk agreements, co-signed by Putin, would have also withdrawn foreign troops from Keiv and returned control to the Ukranian government. Western officials are skeptical of Putin in following through on his promise. Joe Biden believes he is trying to “redraw the map of Europe.”
