Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny affirmed his anti-corruption position after he was released from jail Friday, saying he would not “bend under any pressure.” He was arrested and served 25 days in jail for organizing a wave of protests on June 12, when thousands of protesters were gathered in Moscow and in more than 100 other Russian cities. Nearly 2,000 people were detained at the protests. Navalny was released to his headquarters at the Fund for Fighting Corruption office, and commended his supporters their continued efforts in his absence.
