A Russian spy ship has been seen trolling the East Coast again, CBS News reported Wednesday. The Viktor Leonov, an AGI trawler, was seen just 20 miles south of a U.S. Navy submarine base in Georgia. It was reportedly heading north. During a similar February patrol of the East Coast, no Russian ships came closer than 17 miles within the U.S., meaning they all stayed within international waters. CBS called the string of close calls, including Russian jets that buzzed near a U.S. destroyer in the Black Sea, "alarming." Trump has called such interactions "not good" but did not admit it was a provocation or test from Russian President Vladimir Putin.
