Russians Asked Snowden to Spy for Them

Russia’s intelligence agency tried to recruit Edward Snowden to spy on the country’s behalf, according to WikiLeaks staffer Sarah Harrison. Snowden reportedly declined the offer by Russia’s FSB intelligence security service, which was made in 2013 when he was stuck in the transit area of Moscow’s Sheremetyevo International Airport. U.S. intelligence officials have accused Snowden of being controlled by Russia for months. Neither Snowden nor FSB officials have commented on this recent claim.
