Was it just us, or did Ryan seem to need a cough drop? The Republican vice presidential nominee addressed the Republican National Convention Wednesday night, and seemed to warm up after much initial throat-clearing. “After four years of getting the run-around, America needs a turnaround, and the man for that job is Governor Mitt Romney,” Ryan said. The candidate opened up about his father's death and also played the role of attack dog, criticizing Obama and calling his stimulus plan "the worst case of political patronage, corporate welfare and cronyism at their worst."
