Saddam’s Toilet Goes to Museum

The U.S. plans to hand over its military base in Baghdad to the Iraqi government in December, but it will take at least one thing with it during the switchover: Saddam’s toilet. The stainless-steel souvenir was used by the dictator while imprisoned by the U.S. military for two years before his execution. It will be displayed at an American military-police museum. Soldiers have gotten to work packing up the Versailles-style palaces where the war command was once stationed since President Obama announced that all forces would be out of Iraq by the end of the year.
