Saif Gaddafi: NYT Journalists to be Released

Father and son had very different responses to the U.N.'s ruling in favor of a no-fly zone. Saif Gaddafi told Christiane Amanpour that civilians aren't being killed, that people are happy to be “liberated” by state security forces, and that the New York Times journalists being held will be released. His father, Muammar, on the other hand, threatened to attack passenger jets and “all air and maritime traffic in the Mediterranean Sea.” The U.N. Security council voted in favor of a no-fly zone in Libya, which U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said could "bombing targets like the Libyan defense systems.”
