As if Tareq and Michaele Salahi's reputation hasn't been scrutinized enough in the past week, new information surfaced about their signature social event: the annual Land Rover America's Polo Cup, deemed the "world's most prestigious" charity polo event. Supposed sponsors such as Cartier and the St. Regis Hotel in Washington claim they are not in fact sponsoring the event, and various vendors say the Salahis have never paid for services. Other questionable factors—like the amount of money raised at past events, and how much of that amount actually goes to the Journey for the Cure Foundation—is under investigation.
