San Francisco has begun using a specially formulated paint to fight public urination. The clear coating acts as a repellant, and makes urine splash back at the offender’s pants and shoes. San Francisco seems to be the only one using the Ultra-Ever Dry product so far, but maybe not for long: Since implementing the program, the city’s public works manager says he’s gotten inquiries from as far away as Hawaii and Washington, D.C.
