Convicted child molester Jerry Sandusky has put in his two cents about the NCAA penalties issued against Penn State’s football program, calling them “unjust.” Sandusky’s defense attorney Joe Amendola delivered Sandusky’s message to the Associated Press in a phone interview Wednesday, saying Sandusky maintains his innocence and is adamant that the idea that school officials engaged in a cover-up is “ridiculous,” even if people believe he’s guilty of sexually abusing young boys. “He continues to believe that the truth will come out at some point, and that he’ll get another trial or another opportunity to establish his innocence,” Amendola said.
