Santorum: Mitt Can't Close Deal

It’s time for some good ol’ fashioned Republican name-calling. Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich went after frontrunner Mitt Romney Sunday with a fresh round of attacks. Santorum, who’s currently tied with Romney in polls for the crucial state of Illinois, said that Mitt “can’t close the deal,” citing the fact that Romney spent tons of money in Ohio and Michigan but only won by the “skin of his teeth.” Meanwhile, Gingrich, who is still in the race (and refuses to quit), said that Romney is the GOP’s weakest frontrunner since the 1920 election. We’re not exactly sure what that says about Gingrich’s campaign.
