The Daily Beast columnist doesn't hold back just because her father and Palin once hit the campaign trail together. In her book Dirty Sexy Politics, McCain describes how the Palin children's airtime took priority over her own during the 2008 presidential election. And recently McCain called Bristol Palin "ridiculous" for not voting in the midterm elections. "I guess it's only important for Bristol Palin to vote for Dancing With the Stars," she told Jay Leno.

MSNBC anchor Joe Scarborough better watch his back. The former Republican congressman wrote in an op-ed post for Politico that Palin isn't a viable candidate for the presidency. "The most-talked-about figure in the GOP is a reality show star who cannot be elected," he wrote. Scarborough sarcastically compares Palin's past as a beauty queen contestant to "risking your life in military combat."

When you mess with the cubs, mama grizzly will come running. Palin's dancing daughter, Bristol, came under fire when fellow Dancing With the Stars contestant Margaret Cho blogged "that the only reason Bristol was on the show was because Sarah Palin forced her to do it." Cho writes that she knows from "circles" that Palin told her daughter "she 'owed' it to her to do 'DWTS' so that 'America would fall in love with her again' and make it possible for Sarah Palin to run in 2012 with America behind her all the way." Bristol fired back at Cho in a Facebook post for "getting so many 'facts' wrong."

After reading from Palin's new book, America by Heart, Beyonce's baby sister took to Twitter to slam Palin for calling the Obama family racist because they attended the Rev. Jeremiah Wright's church services. "Then Sarah Palin wants to call Michelle a racist? Says that they listened to rants about white people in church & that makes them racist." Solange then tweeted: "So did that make her [Sarah Palin] a racist when people at HER rally were yelling out "That n----r"? By listening to that ¬ stopping it?"

Even conservative syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer has expressed some negative thoughts about Sarah Palin. While appearing on Fox News' Special Report with Bret Baier, Krauthammer pooh-poohed Palin's endorsement of Delaware Tea Party candidate Christine O'Donnell, calling it "disruptive and capricious."

It's one thing to tease the Alaska governor on the air, but ragging on Palin off the air may just push you on her hit list. Perhaps when Fox News' Judith Miller and Liz Trotta decided to tease Palin about her new TLC reality show, Sarah Palin' Alaska, they didn't realize that Palin is also a host and commentator on Fox. Trotta cited The New York York Times article about her show, saying it "was like 'The Sound of Music' without the Nazis, without the romance, and without the music." Miller chimed in with a crack about Palin's voice terrifying bears.

The Weekly Standard's Matt LeBash didn't just bash Sarah Palin's Alaska in his review-he bashed the hell out it. His witty piece probed the show's existence, as well as what it may really be about. The show makes Palin out to be a family woman, but Labash provides a reality check, writing: "Except that she didn't give her family up after governing it for two-and-a-half years, so that she could get a Fox News contract, and make 100 grand per speech, and write two books in a year, and drag her entire family onto a tacky reality show."

After Willow Palin did some gay-bashing on Facebook, Bonnie Goldstein of Politics Daily's Woman Up blog wrote a post sure to infuriate any lipstick-wearing maverick. Riffing off a New York Times magazine piece reporting on Palin's tightly run ship and how she is constantly looking for "trustworthy" advisers, Goldstein wrote: "Palin may want to budget a companionable nanny for the older children," citing her children's missteps in the public arena. Watch out, Goldstein.

It doesn't get more grizzly than this. On her new reality show, Palin and daughter Bristol went halibut fishing together. The pair caught a big one and began beating it to death, as is common practice for fisherman. But they perhaps took it a bit too far when both Palins held the halibut's beating heart and had a good laugh. The animal rights group In Defense of Animals says that while the clubbing might be the most humane way to kill the halibut, their antics were off-putting. In a statement, the group writes: "Sarah Palin's complete lack of compassion as demonstrated in this snuff video is disgusting."

These are some literal lyrics. Singer Sheryl Crow's most recent album takes a few jabs at Palin, with the song " Say What You Want" inspired by Palin's tweets during the health-care reform debates, when she was quick to tell the American people to "reload." In response, Crow sings, "I saw you ranting on TV today / I heard you tell me to reload / You got a lot of nerve to talk that way / Someone unplug the microphone."

In her new book, Palin takes on former President John F. Kennedy, claiming that he "ran away from his religion" when he rand for office. Huh? Palin dissects one of Kennedy's 1960s speeches, in which he argues for the separation of church and state. Palin writes that Kennedy "essentially declared religion to be such a private matter that it was irrelevant to the kind of country we are." That's sure to upset a few Catholics, but as Joel Connelly from the Seattle Post-Intelligencer wrote: "Sarah Palin's commentary on JFK helps demonstrate the depth of shallowness in one with possible aspirations to Kennedy's job."

On Lopez Tonight, guest Bill Maher told the TBS late night host that Palin never has an answer to any question she is dealt. "That's her only answer, E: all of the above, because she doesn't know anything." Maher continued: "They always say they want to see Obama's birth certificate, I'll show you his birth certificate when you show me Sarah Palin's high school diploma."

During a panel on Anderson Cooper 360 with Republican strategist Alex Castellanos and Cooper, Roland Martin compared Palin to Kim Kardashian. "She's making a ton of money; we're trying to figure out why," he said. Cooper said Martin's criticism was harsh, considering Kardashian has never been elected to office. Martin was quick to point out that Palin quit her government post to become a celebrity-and even Castellanos said there was no way she could really run for president.

The author of Palinisms: The Accidental Wit and Wisdom of Sarah Palin should be making his cameo on her enemies list soon. And Weisberg has been updating a list of his own of the ridiculous quotes he hears from Palin on Slate.com. He most recently quoted her when she told Glenn Beck that "we've gotta stand with our North Korean allies." Ahh, classic Palin.

During Palin's midterm endorsement tour, the former Alaska governor put her name behind Georgia Secretary of State Karen Handel in the gubernatorial primary runoff. Even though Handel lost, Rep. Jack Kingston (R-GA) told a morning radio show that he had no idea why Palin got involved in the state's primaries in the first place. "Why Sarah Palin decided to get in the race is beyond me," he said. "I don't know why she feels compelled to get into primaries all over the country. But, you know, fortunately Georgia voters are doing their own thinking on things like this."

Nancy Franklin's piece on Sarah Palin's new reality show spares no feelings. Franklin writes that many viewers have had enough of Palin and they aren't really ready to hear her voice again: " I can't say what Palin is really up to with this show. She seems to want viewers to think that she's conflicted about public life. She says that she'd 'rather be doing this than in some stuffy old political office' and 'a poor day of fishin' beats even a great day of work.' In that spirit, I wish Palin many, many days-years-of fishin', starting now."

Late night funny lady Chelsea Handler can't resist taking a few jabs at Palin. During the 2008 presidential election, she aired a mock reality show clip called Keeping Up with the Palins that showed Palin as a dim-witted president. She blogged about how Palin's appearance on DWTS was an "eskimo buzzkill" for her. And while promoting her book Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang in March, she told Today show hosts Kathy Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb that Palin was "really stupid." When Handler asked if the hosts knew Palin, they said no. Handler replied, "Let's try and keep it that way."
