Five decapitated bodies, two of which were scalped, have been found in popular areas in Acapulco. Two bodies were left outside a Sam's Club, cut into more than 20 pieces. The skin on their faces had been removed and left in a purse at the scene. Three other decapitated bodies were found in a car outside a gas station on a popular boulevard not far from the Sam's Club. One of those victims was a woman, and the heads have not been located. Mexican authorities do not yet know the nature of the killings.
