A picture purported to be a scanned copy of Michelle Obama’s passport was leaked online Thursday along with emails of a low-level White House staffer. The information appears to be the latest data leak largely attributed to Russian hackers targeting U.S. officials ahead of the presidential election. The authenticity of the supposed passport copy could not immediately be verified, but White House spokesman Josh Earnest told Reuters the administration was taking the latest information dump seriously. Along with an image said to be of the First Lady’s passport, several emails from a Gmail account belonging to staffer Ian Mellul were leaked. Mellul has worked with Hillary Clinton’s campaign, and the leaked emails focused on planning for campaign events.
