Scaramucci Threatens to Sue His Alma Mater’s Student Paper Over Negative Column

Ex-Trump aide Anthony Scaramucci is threatening to sue his alma mater Tufts University’s student-run newspaper over essays criticizing his position on the university’s Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy advisory board. Several students have called for Scaramucci, a Tufts alum who served as Trump’s White House communications director for only ten days this summer (before fizzling out in epic fashion), to be removed from the board. His lawyers sent The Tufts Daily a letter taking issue with the essay’s author calling him “an unethical opportunist” who “sold his soul,” among other points. Tufts reportedly postponed a scheduled talk by the former White House staffer in light of the threatened lawsuit. The paper also defiantly posted Scaramucci’s cease-and-desist letter to its website.
