At least 16 children and one teacher are dead after a school bus caught fire in eastern Pakistan on Saturday. Seven more children were injured, and the driver fled the scene. The bus, which was carrying 24 children between ages 5 and 15, was just a few miles from the private school the children attended when the blaze erupted. The van was dual-fuel, with the capability of switching between natural gas and gasoline. The accident was attributed to a faulty gas cylinder, which caught fire from a spark emitted when the driver switched fuel sources.
