Scientists Possibly Exposed to Anthrax

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced on Thursday that up to 75 scientists may have been exposed to live anthrax bacteria in its Atlanta lab. The exposure came after a high-level biosecurity lab failed to inactivate the live anthrax bacteria. The anthrax samples were then transferred to a lower-level lab where more staff were exposed through spores in the air. So far, none have reported symptoms.
