Three teenage girls from London are missing and feared to be traveling to Syria to potentially join ISIS, Scotland Yard announced Friday. Shamina Begum, 15, Kadiza Sultana, 16, and an unnamed 15-year-old left the U.K. on Tuesday on a flight to Turkey. Police said the three girls told their families they would be out for the day. Hours later they landed in Turkey, and their whereabouts are now unknown. Turkey is a popular route for Westerners going into Syria, most notably Hayat Boumeddiene, the widow of a terrorist who shot up a kosher supermarket in Paris following the Charlie Hebdo attacks.
