In an interview with Lesley Stahl on 60 Minutes, Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown reveals that he was the victim of child abuse, at the hands of both his stepfather and a camp counselor. The incidents are detailed in his forthcoming book, Against All Odds. Brown vividly recalls the psychological and physical abuse his stepfather made him endure, saying he wishes he could burn down the house in which it occurred. In addition, at the age of 10, Brown was sexually abused "several times" by a camp counselor. In the interview, set to air on Sunday on CBS, Brown says he never told anyone about the sexual assault, not even his mother. "That's what happens when you're a victim. You're embarrassed. You're hurt," he said, adding that his camp counselor threatened him. “He said, 'If you tell anybody, I'll kill you. I will make sure that nobody believes you.'"
