SCOTUS Halts 3 Oklahoma Executions

NOT SO FAST

Because of controversial sedative.

On Wednesday the Supreme Court ordered Oklahoma to postpone three lethal-injection executions until it rules in a challenge involving a controversial sedative, midazolam. The drug has been used in botched executions in Arizona, Ohio, and Oklahoma. The case will be argued in April and the Court will make a decision by late June.
