Pope Francis landed in Washington, D.C. to screams from a small crowd gathered on the runway. "Franscico! Franscico!" and "Ho, ho! Hey, hey! Welcome to the USA!" greeted the pontiff on his first trip to the United States. Francis shook the hands of the First Family at the edge of the stairs. Francis will stay in D.C. until Friday, when he will leave for New York. Francis will end his historic trip with a visit to Philadelphia for the Meeting of World Families.
