Looks like Democrats are blinking first: A top aide said top Senate Democrats told the White House Thursday they are creating a seven-month budget extension that will include some of the spending cuts President Obama recommended in his own proposal. The resolution is a stab at breaking the stalemate that has loomed over Washington since the House GOP passed their own proposal, which would cut $61 billion. Democrats have yet to reveal exactly what those cuts will be and how much of the GOP’s recommended cuts are incorporated.
