Another day, another victory over a suspected terrorist leader. Haji Mali Khan, a senior militant in the terrorist Haqqani network, has been captured in Afghanistan. He was detained during an operation by Afghan and coalition forces, and reportedly did not resist despite being heavily armed. He is the uncle of the network's leader, Siraj Haqqani. The Haqqani network is blamed for the recent assassination of former Afghan president Burhanuddin Rabbani. Last week Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman Adm. Mike Mullen accused Pakistan's spy agency of helping the network.
