A British archaeologist has confirmed that William Shakespeare’s skull is missing from his grave. Researchers found disturbances in the area around where the Bard was buried, at the Church of the Holy Trinity in Stratford-upon-Avon. With radar scans of the area, the team determined that part of his remains were taken. “We have Shakespeare’s burial with an odd disturbance at the head end and we have a story that suggests that at some point in history someone’s come in and taken the skull of Shakespeare,” said archaeologist Kevin Colls from Staffordshire University.
