Former New York Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver was found guilty on all seven counts in his corruption trial on Monday. The trial has been ongoing for five weeks and Silver will cede his Assembly seat for the first time in 40 years. He was found guilty of honest services fraud, extortion, and money laundering.
