"It seems like it’s the accepted way of calling somebody the n-word nowadays," Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman said of "thug" at a press conference Wednesday afternoon. "Thug" was used on television, mostly to describe him, 625 times in the 24 hours after his infamous trash-talking of Michael Crabtree following Sunday's victory over the San Francisco 49ers. "Crabtree," Sherman said Sunday. "Don't you open your mouth about the best. Or I'm going to shut it for you real quick!" As if that wasn't enough, Sherman and Crabtree were mic'd up during the game.
