A Pennsylvania appeals court has ruled that TV star Sherri Shepherd is legally responsible for a child born to a surrogate she and her ex-husband Lamar Sally hired before their divorce. Following Shepherd’s messy split, she sought to void the surrogacy contract and have her name removed from the birth certificate, but the court found that she must continue paying $4,100 per month in child support for the now-1-year-old, who is being raised by his father.
