Not one to shy from dramatics, Shia LaBeouf took to the sky for his latest attempt at apologizing to writer Daniel Clowes for plagiarizing his story in a short film made by the actor. On New Year's Eve, a skywriter hired by LaBeouf wrote, "I am sorry Daniel Clowes" in the air over Hollywood. The actor's film, "HowardCantour.com," was released last month and found to have taken whole sections of dialogue from a Clowes story called "Justin M. Damiano." The writer is apparently mulling legal action.
