Two plainclothes officers who were shot while driving through South Los Angeles on Sunday said they believe they were targeted, an official said. The officers returned fire after they were fired upon, said Det. Meghan Aguilar. Both officers suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene. It was unclear if the pair were in a marked vehicle during the shooting. Police apprehended several people at the scene, but are still looking for two suspects in the area.
